Everyone saying this is a double kiss doesnt actually play pool... A double kiss is between the cue ball and the cue itself... When you hit a ball very close to the cue ball the cue often "double kisses" the cue ball so quickly you can't really see it... In this case you can tell by the way the cue ball behaves after the shot (the cue ball and object ball will travel at s similar speed off the shot)... This is in no way shape or form a "double kiss" in the foul sense... If The balls stay on the table, and you make contact with the correct ball first, without interfering with the cue stick after the initial stroke and the shot is legal

Well what did he do different?

Position if the ball is not same 1. And 2. Time,he had a better angle on the 2. Shot so it worked,but with the angle on the 1. Shot he would probably push the black ball of the pocket by hitting harder for the position.

Or you could just leave yourself with an easy bank shot on the 8 ball, which is what I’d prefer doing.

I saw in a different video yesterday, where a gentleman was making a very similar 2 bank shot without using English. He was using centerball hits only and letting the second bank reverse the spin! Nope, I have yet to try either version, but as soon as I shake this flu-bug I will be trying both versions on a full sized Brunswick. If one or the other works, I'll be adding it to my "cool" shot making program!😊

no, not really… you just use some side spin and maybe some more speed on the cur ball to get a better angle for the 8. no need to make things complicated
